Some of the trees were tall enough as it was.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3592\/3567131143_7dc6fb1c1e_m.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>At the last house, the homeowner showed us the mama bird that comes back every year to nest in the hanging basket outside her kitchen window.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2423\/3567134315_1b6bfb9b15_m.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>I took 200 lbs of fruit to Martha&#8217;s kitchen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3598\/3567132077_5355ae7112_m.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>At snack time, we enjoyed Lisa&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/fooddownunder.com\/cgi-bin\/recipe.cgi?r=144832\">kumquat-rhubarb chutney<\/a> and Heather&#8217;s zucchini bread.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2480\/3567133091_2ac70f3fba_m.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>John says, &#8220;Yum, yum!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2438\/3567134071_399eeb335e_m.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nActually, I&#8217;m not complaining about citrus, especially if moving on would mean harvesting 50-foot-tall loquat trees.
