He did so with the stipulation that the County and State cooperate to create an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkhere.org\/portal\/site\/parks\/parksarticle?path=%2Fv7%2FParks%20and%20Recreation%2C%20Department%20of%20%28DEP%29%2FPlanning%20and%20Development%2FMartial%20Cottle%20Park%20Master%20Plan&#038;contentId=873b84d4e1814110VgnVCM10000048dc4a92____\">agricultural park<\/a>. This evening, I attended a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sccgov.org\/SCC\/docs%2FBoards%20and%20Commission%20%28PRG%29%2Fattachments%2FParks%20and%20Rec%2FPRC_Agenda_02April08.pdf\">meeting<\/a> of the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Commission where the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parkhere.org\/SCC\/docs\/Parks%20and%20Recreation,%20Department%20of%20(DEP)\/attachments\/MAR_ProgramDoc_031208_FINALdraft.pdf\">Final Draft Program Document for the Martial Cottle Park Master Plan<\/a> was presented.<\/p>\n<p>It seems too good to be true. The park will contain working farms that will make (probably) organic and (definitely) locally-grown produce available. That alone is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newamerica.net\/publications\/articles\/2007\/can_city_save_farm_5422\">wonderful thing<\/a>. There will be trails, connected to the local trail system, for bicycle and pedestrian access. Educational programs will complement those already offered at Emma Prusch park. <\/p>\n<p>And there is an opportunity to restore Canoas Creek from a flood control channel to an actual, functioning stream. <\/p>\n<p>On another happy note, I received my first PayPal donation through this website!
