More pears

We went back to the pears of Summit Woods this morning, picking more at last week’s orchard, plus another house. Village Harvest is all about the team, for me, and we have a great time picking together. Here’s John bull riding:

For snack, we had a huge spread of treats. I made a cobbler with the white peaches I picked yesterday. Bud brought a chocolate zucchini cake. And Joni sent ice cream bars to celebrate our reaching 100,000 lbs in 2009. And it’s only August! I had a mint It’s-it. Mmmmmm……….
